Bob Peter and the Swing Kings played at our wedding in June 2004, which was held at Howie's Restaurant, Waterloo Place Edinburgh. I could not speak too highly of either the venue or the band - both were absolutely fantastic!! Having the live music really made the evening for us. Everyone from my 78 year old grandmother to my 10 year old cousin said how much they enjoyed it. People were up dancing from the start and the atmosphere was just brilliant. Bob and the band were consummate professionals and helped to make our special day even more memorable. I would recommend them to anyone!!

The Swing Kings played (as a four-piece) at our wedding at Duns Castle in July 2004. We cannot recommend them highly enough - the music was absolutely superb, and the arrangements were perfectly adhered to. The band is ideal if you are looking for something a little bit different from the usual ceilidh/disco line-up - especially as they are able to play a few Scottish country dancing tunes to please any kilt-wearers! It was so impressive to see a proper live band in such a fantastic setting, and it made our first dance so special. After that, the dancefloor was packed with young and old 'uns, showing off their moves. Elderly relatives can sit back and enjoy the music too. Don't underestimate how big a part the music plays in making your day just how you want it to be!

Just to say THANKS to Bob and the Swing Kings 4pc Combo. They've played at our wedding in St Leonard's Hall, Edinburgh, in August 2005 and we cannot recommend them highly enough. The music was superb, the atmosphere they created as exactly what we were wishing for. Everybody from 20's up to 70's enjoyed their swing either on the dancefloor or listening just beside. They've made the whole celebration really special. Thanks for a great evening!

The Swingkings were recommended by a friend for our wedding and we are really glad we booked them. They had everyone dancing at our wedding and we cannot recommend them highly enough. It was a mix of classic swing and good old fashioned rock'n'roll, along with a little bit of ceilidh as well. They added significantly to the best day of our lives and we think that they are the perfect band for anyone who wants some real classy music at their wedding.
